transition/inspiration.

So my life consists of a few hobbies.
  • Photography
  • Music

I have mentally mapped out my subconscious changes between these two parts of my life, and it seems to occur every two or so weeks, give and take a few days. I will be pumped about doing shoots, practicing a ton with new photography ideas and concepts, maybe do a few shoots, then it all ends. It all stops. It is put on hold.

Then i'll be stoked about writing and playing new songs, remembering how music wipes away the dust of my everyday life, dreaming of starting another band and then not, maybe laying down some tracks just for kicks, and then it just ends. It all stops. It is put on hold.

Soon after the music phase ends, i'll book another shoot or something and be in photography mode for another two weeks.

  • Am i weird? (lets not answer that...)
  • Am i hobby bipolar?
  • Am i easly burnt out?
  • Can i not balance two hobbies at once?

All of the above has no meaning or point...just something i thought was interesting.

Really what I wanted to say was a little something about inspiration. The reason music and photography are such a huge part of my life is because a few individuals have inspired me- individuals who make me think and wonder "could i do that?". These individuals probably have no idea they have such a huge impact on my life, but they do. They gave me the fire to try something out. They gave me the spark that opened my eyes to a whole new world of creativity. I have a fear that i will never share with them how much they have inspired me. It is only right for them to know how massive a gift they have given me. That is only a fear of mine because I only dream of placing the inspiration in someone else's life as I have been inspired. So all of this to say-
  • be inspired.
  • break free from the norm, the comfortable, the easy.
  • share your story of inspiration while you have the chance.
Thank you for putting up with the blog of only writing...I'm transitioning back to a photography phase, don't worry!
