I love LUCY!

Laura and I decided to surprise some friends with photos of their beloved Golden Retriever Lucy! I love Lucy, i really do. This is some personal work for me, so I tried to push myself creatively not shooting for a client and all. Enjoy!

Senior Portraits: Nadia!

We had a great time creating some senior portraits for the coolest cat ever- Nads. The first day of shooting was done on location, with some less-than-ideal weather. It was kind of a challenge, but we made the best of the circumstances. The second day was studio shots all on the white seamless. It was tons of fun, and I really love a couple of the images.

2010 Seniors- its not to late to book a senior shoot with us! Shoot me and email at mattgold@bellsouth.net for more info.

Enjoy!

Chase Jarvis's Inside look

Check Chase Jarvis's scoop on the hopefully new Nikon gear. Exciting to hopefully see all the new cameras shooting in 1080p. Sorry, I become a nerd when things like this come out...

enjoy!

A complete redesign...

...all started with the first draft of my new awesome MOO business cards. My complete branding has been updated to hopefully a more professional, yet still clean and simple design. The first thing to change was the business cards. I went with MOO because they simply rock. The mini cards i think make for a more unique and hopefully memorable card, and of course they were much cheaper! The simplicity of the business card hopefully can be carried throughout my website and blog.

Branding is a facet of graphic design and photography that I am very interested in. It was good experience to practice on my own photography brand. One thing I strived to achieve was a sense of visual consistency throughout my web portfolio, blog, and forms of advertisement. I updated the blog and the website to match the design of the business card- not the normal design approach by all means, but it's how I got it done. Now I'm pleased with the visual consistency- hopefully one of elegant simplicity and maybe even a greater sense of professionalism if i'm lucky.

Let me know what you think of the new design!
